Leaked Honda Order Sheet Reveals 2013 Accord Details

Usually, when automakers are developing an entirely new or heavily refreshed model for the next model year, they're pretty good about keep their lips tightly sealed about any pertinent details. But sometimes, we get lucky, and some specs get leaked. Even better? Apple Honda is more than happy to share these details with Long Island drivers.

So, if you've been patiently waiting to hear more about the 2013 Honda Accord, you're in luck: an order sheet recently found its way onto the Internet, and it looks like a Sport trim is headed out way, along with an efficient CVT.

Currently, the Honda Accord is available in LX, LX Premium, SE, EX, EX V-6, EX-L, EX-L V6, and EX-L V6 with Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System. But it looks like, for 2013, Honda plans on eliminating the SE trim, and putting a Sport model - equipped with a Continuously Variable Transmission or six-speed manual transmission - in its place.

As far as engines go: we have known for a while that Honda plans to debut their new line of Earth Dreams engine technology in the next-gen Accord. Choices will include a 2.4-liter four-cylinder or 3.5-liter V6. As for the coupe, which should arrive later than the four-door sedan, trim levels will remain the same. Meanwhile, a hybrid powertrain is set to arrive in the near future, too.

When? Keep your eyes and ears tuned to Apple Honda as the summer winds down. The sedan is set to arrive in the fall, with the coupe shortly thereafter.

Can't wait until autumn? The current-gen Honda Accord has a lot to offer, too. Stop by and check it out in our showroom at 1375 Route 58 Riverhead, NY 11901; a member of our team is happy to answer any of your questions and arrange a test drive.
